Lahann- Roland H. age 75 of Smithtown, NY passed away peacefully on January 18, 2011. Ex Chief and Ex Commissioner of the Smithtown Fire Department. Past President of the Suffolk Fire Chief’s Counsel. Past President of Smithtown Fire Department Chief’s Counsel Safety Officer. Active member of Smithtown Department for over 58 years. Beloved husband of Violet, Loving father of Donnalee, (John) Gray and Robert (Lynette) Lahann. Cherished grandfather of Danielle, Crystal, Johnny, Vanessa, Gavin, Cory, Skylar.
Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, Smithtown, NY. Private cremation followed

I am Roland's Brother in Law (in England) - and am therefore well qualified to identify him.
