Happening at The Smithtown Library – Kings Park Building

Otis M. Thornhill Memorial Peace and Literacy Event

With the support of The Smithtown Library, the Rotary Club of Smithtown Sunrise will be conducting a reading of Goldie and Her Friends. Attendees will learn how to meet new dogs and show kindness to each other, as they meet Brea, a 10 years old golden retriever. Otis M. Thornhill was a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Smithtown Sunrise, as well as a member of the Board of Trustees of The Smithtown Library until his death in 2016.   This program is intended for children ages 5-8 with their parent or caregiver.  Each child will receive a copy of the book.  Dress to make a mess.  This program is scheduled for Saturday, May 11 from 10:00-11:30am at the Kings Park Building of The Smithtown Library.  The Kings Park Building is located at 1 Church Street, Kings Park NY 11754.  This is a free program, but registration is required.  For more information, please call (631) 360-2480 ext. 440.
