Nesconset Elementary Visit Benner’s Farm

Nesconset Elementary School first graders visited Benner’s Farm in East Setauket where they were introduced to the daily life of a child during colonial times.  They learned of colonial children’s chores, games, and responsibilities.  They also became acquainted with the many animals on the farm and were able to feed some furry friends.

BB PARTICIPATES IN THE FOURTH GRADE FORESTERS USA PROJECT

In recognition of Earth Week which was celebrated April 20 to the 26th, Branch Brook  Elementary fourth graders participated in the Fourth Grade Foresters USA Project.  The project’s goal is to help revitalize a remarkable idea-obeservation packaged tree, packaged by workers with disabilities for the Fourth Grad Foresters USA Project.  Mr. & Mrs. Anthony Petrozzela, parents of BB fourth grader, covered the cost of taking  car of the earth by planting the tree and becoming an official forester.  The students took the tree home and planted it.
