People In The News - Smithtown HSE Graduate Paris Ray Sings National Anthem

Paris Ray of Smithtown Sings the National Anthem at the Smithtown Library Summer Concert Series

Pictured singing the National Anthem is Paris Ray with Suffolk County Legislator Rob Trotta.(Smithtown, NY)… Paris Ray, who grew up in St. James and graduated from Smithtown High School East and this past May received her bachelor’s degree in song writing and composition from SUNY Purchase, thrilled the audience with her rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner.” In introducing Paris, Legislator Trotta told that audience that Paris recently opened for David Crosby at the Space in Westbury and that she wrote and recorded a jingle for McDonalds which is being aired in Germany.

“Paris has a beautiful voice and I think it is great that the crowd gave her such a warm welcome and a tremendous ovation,” said Suffolk County Legislator Rob Trotta.
