Riepe, Catherine of Nissequogue, NY, formerly of Merrick and Bronx, NY passed peacefully on December 11, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Joseph for over 51 years. Loving and devoted mother of James (Jim Stewart) Riepe, Claire Riepe and the late Thomas Riepe.
Adored sister of Sr. Theresa Lynch, Sr. Loretta Lynch and Claire (the late John) McKenna. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Kitty was an accomplished nurse. She is a St. Vincent’s School of Nursing Graduate (Class of ‘45), Supervising nurse of obstetrics at St. Francis Hospital, Bronx, NY, President of Sacred Heart Parish Over 50 Club, Merrick (1984-2009). Active in working monthly events at the Merrick Senior Center.
She is survived by many other family members and friends. Funeral Mass was celebrated at Sts. Philip & James R.C. Church. Entombment followed at St. Charles Cemetery.
