Pette, Richard George, 69 of Nesconset, NY on September 23, 2017, after a lengthy and steady fight with cancer. Richard was born in Rockville Center, NY. Richard is survived by his two daughters Kristine Schwartz of Marietta, GA and Sharon Pette of New York City and his only son Dennis Pette of Smithtown, NY. Richard also had five grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Richard worked in the beverage industry for over 40 years, He enjoyed visiting with the lifelong childhood friends, spending time at the race track, and with his grandchildren. He was a man of few words but was very proud of his children and grandchildren. Richard is preceded in death by his brothers Jay and Harry.
